AM3358 using TPS65910

Hello,

I am using AM3358 powered by a PMIC, TPS65910.

 

I would like to use AM3358 in Turbo mode (720MHz device speed) which requires VDD_MPU to be 1.26V.

However, TPS65910 provides 1.1V to VDD_MPU which causes AM3358 to operate in OPP100 mode as a default.

Please make sure that the procedures to change the operating mode as shown below are correct.

 

1. Boot AM3358 by TPS65910 with the default setting (VDD_MPU=1.1V)

2. After booting in OPP100 mode, Change the register of TPS65910 so that it can provide 1.26V to VDD_MPU

3. AM3358 automatically works in Turbo mode after VDD_MPU reaches to 1.26V level.
