Does DM368 IPNC IMX036 support 1080P + D1 ?

IPNC DM368 Release 3.0 for the Aptina MT9P031 sensor includes the use case of H264(1080P) + H264(D1).

IPNC DM368 Release 3.0 for IMX036 sensor supports  H264(1080P) + H264(320x192) but not H264(1080P) + H264(D1).

Wondering if this is a fundamental limitation for IPNC DM368 with IMX036, or if this is one of the MT5 release 3.0/4.0 features that just didn't get transferred to the IMX036 yet.

The IPNC IMX036 Release 3.0 software did not include an updated product datasheet. It seems like the document is for 2.6, and mentions 5 MP so it must be for the Aptina sensor, so we don't know what modes are supposed to be available for the IPNC DM368 IMX036.

Thanks!

  • Hello,

Can you please use V3.1 for this, this has 1080p+d1 supported with imx036 and has support for TI2A?

V3.0 for IMX036 was done by Appro and may not reflected all the usecase from MT5 of v3.0

    Regards,

    Raghu

  • Hi Raghu,

Where can I find the IPNC DM368 Release 3.0 for the Aptina MT9P031 sensor?  I just purchased a LeopardBoard 368 and MT9031 sensors yesterday, and I plan to create a webcam.  This is my first hardware project, and I would like to start with the demo.  Thank you.
