Regarding DEI (Deinterlacer)

Hi,

We are developing some other application like capture-encode, where the encoder component takes in the yuv4:2:0 progressive input.

So i have some queries on it.

1. Do we need to include dei module, as we want only single yuv 4:2:0 progressive input for encoder component.

2. if we include dei module, we get 2 sets of output in bypass mode (4:2:0 yuv and 4:2:2 yuv).

Actually we only require only one set of output, so please guide for setting the dei module only for single set of output.

Is it EZSDK/RDK? please include the version also.

We are working with Ti8168 ezsdk version 5_04_00_11.

You need DEI interlacer only if you do deInterlacer.

Right now software is architected to give two outputs but you can discard second output without any sideeffects.

Sudeep,

if you do not enable the other port, you would get only single o/p.
