De-interlacing video with DM8168/TVP5158

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320DM8168, TVP5158

My customer works with DM8168 and now they are having some problems with the device.

They tried to work with DVR box DM8168 DVR-UD1, but it seems that equipment doesn't work correctly from the box: no video on UI screen (cameras plugged correct), and no DVR's reaction on any hw keys. After 10 reboots DVR was die - NAND flash get corrupted. They reflashed DVR but it wasn't possible to get a recorded video from it. Also they can't build DVR demos because on delivered DVD folder "/DVRRDK_01_06_00_11/ti_tools" empty.

As I understand hardware was developed by udworks, but software is from TI. Who should support customer regarding questions about this development kit and software?

There is some information in TMS320DM8168 Datasheet:

"... high quality (HD) and medium quality (SD) display processing pipelines with de-interlacing, scaling, noise reduction, alpha blending, chroma keying, color space conversion, flicker filtering, and pixel format conversion ..."

Please specify, Is it possible to get de-interlaced video with DM8168 + TVP5158, using hardware recources of DM8168.
