I would like to verify please that when dealing with parameters that are not dynamic (static parameters), such as encoder codec type, input standard resolution, encoder scan-type (i/p), decoder scan type (I/P), encoder profile, (and other parameters) we must stop all encoder or decoder channels, and start them again. This is a critical issue in my project, becuase it mean that when changing parameter of one channel, we need to interfere another channel, and stop and start the other channel too. Is there nothing we can do about that ? Is it a hardware limitation ? How long does it takes to stop/start channel ?
