Hello,

Can i still buy the EVMAM1808? I have found the schematics of this eval board here:

But when i look for an eval board for the AM1808 on the ti website, i only find the TMDXEVMWIFI1808L which is a board of LogicPD.

Hi Bert,

The logicPD board is the one offically supported by TI at the moment. I would suggest you use that.

Hello Mariana,

The logicPD board uses a commercial logicPD System On Module and they do not release the schematic files of this SOM. I would like to use this evaluation board as a starting point of my own hardware development with a AM1808 SoC. Therefore i would like to have reliable example schematics. Which eval boards includes full schematic files?

Hi Bert,

For the boards that I have from LogicPB, after you buy and register the board, you can access the schematics after loging in in their website.

For example, if you go to this page in Logic's website:

http://www.logicpd.com/products/system-on-modules/am1808-som-m1/#documentation

Look for "Hardware Design Files" and then "Requires Product Registration", and you can register ir once you get your board.

So just look for the documents in the product folder of the obard you want to buy and check if they have Hardware design files available.

Also, it seems that for some EVMs all you have to do is to have an account in their website, see schematics in FAQ:
