  • This is not expected. Can you share the full log . I want to check if frames are getting dropped at Capture or DEI. Also are you running the UDworks GUI application or MCFW command line demo ?

  • From the capture driver statistics I see a lot of field repeats happening for channel 10. THis results in DEI dropping feilds because DEI expects fields to be in the order of E O E O. There seems to be some problem with the channel 10 camera source that is causing this issue. Can you please check this. Try connecting channel 10 source to some other channel and check if you see the issue in the other channel. With the same setup was the fps fine for older RDK release like RDK 2.80

  • Thanks Narayanan.

This week is korean thanks giving week.

    I can check thursday.

    Best Regards .

  • Hi.

first i checked channel 10 source.

when i try connecting channel 10 source to some other channel, i can see the same issue in the other channel.

i'm not using tvp5158 video decoder. but video decoder we used is applyed another project and when i check video loss signal , there has no problem.

secondly i can't check previous RDK .  It maybe much time assumed  because rebuild old RDK and changing all ENV.

How can i fix this issue? . i can't unstand how field dropping is occured.

    thanks.

  • The fact that connecting channel 10 to other channel shows the same issue in other channel shows the problem is with the video source. As you are aware, it is expected that interlaced content is received in the form E O E O. FID repeat indicates content is received as E E O O which is wrong. You have to check why the source isfeeding content wrongly. Are you seeing the issue even with a different camera

  • Hi Narayanan.

i checked decoder's MPP(Multi-Purpose Pin Output) output(it indicate Field of ch.x) with OSILLOSCOPE.

    when we checked, output signal is ordered E O E O ....

we can't check all digital FIELD signal, but when we checked  output signal is ordered.

    another question is that

why  when 10CH  FID repeats,  other channel's frame division pulling on the side?

when i play other channel's encoding video data, channel repeats stop and go, it played stop and go , stop and go...

    Regards.CHO

  • From the statistics the other channel apart from channel 10 do not show any issue. Are you saying that the other channels are also havign frame drops ? Is the preview smooth for the other channels
