OMAP35x 2D/3D Graphics Accelerator

Andrey Simvolokov

"Technical Referance Manul" for OMAP35x contains a few words about its Graphics Accelerator: subsystems functionality; Clocking, Reset, and Power-Management Scheme; SGX Block Diagram and Start Address of the SGX memory map. No register-description, no command-description or other important information.

So, I have no idea how to use/control this subsytem.

Where this information could be found?

As I understood, TI provides drivers & SDK only for Linux/Android that allow to work with SGX530 accelerator by OpenGL API. And these drivers are provided only in bin-files (not source-code). Am I right?

The problem is that I'm writing low-level drivers for special proprietary operation system. So, I can't use bin-files for Linux or other OS. Is there any other way to work with graphics accelerator? Any register manual? Source-code of OpenGL drivers for any OS? Or anything else?

Yes. For getting access to source code, please contact your local TI representative, or contact a 3P who might already have a port for your RTOS.
