McASP FIFO address

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAPL138

Dear E2E:

Thank you for your support.

1.  I use McASP on OMAPL138.

2.  I have enabled RFIFO and need to read the FIFO data by the ARM processor.

3.  What address should be used to read the data from McASP receive FIFO?

4.  The OMAPL138 DS (SPRS815B) - Memory Map, page24 has "McASP 0 Data" <0x01D02000>:<0x01D02FFF>.

5.  Is it a FIFO addresses? Which is RXFIFO and which is TXFIFO? There are two FIFO TX and RX in McASP.

6.  Which address the processor should read to get all the data from the RX FIFO?

Thank you for your help,

Boris Ruvinsky
