DM816x: H.264 decoder bit rate

Hi,

I wanted to know whether DM816x H.264 decoder is dependent of video bit rate parameter or not.

I have a requirement as below

1) to decode 4 1080p/ 4 1080i encoded streams at 15 Mbps. Is there any constraint/limitation to support maximum bit rate for each HD channel?

2) to decode 16 SD resolutions at 6 Mbps each. Is there any constraint/limitation to support maximum bit rate for each SD channel, for 16 simultaneous SD channels ?

HDVICP2 inside IVAHD can easily process 25-30mbps of CABAC for 266Mhz. For CAVLC it can process even more. Since this is DM816x and has 3 x HDVICP2 at 600Mhz, your usecase should be easily supported.

Any idea, whether same is true for HDVICP based H.264 encoder too ? Any constrain for encoder ?

I would also like to know maximum bit rate I can support for each instance of 1080p/i, assuming total 4 instances running simultaneously at 30 fps.
