DM816x/AM389x Evaluation Module

is listed (and linked).

This makes me a bit fear that actually TI might have changed it's strategy concerning DM8148 evaluation modules...

So I'd breath a sigh of relieve if TI could give a clear statement concerning that (and not only a guess).

Thank you for these details. But frankly spoken I'd feel much more relaxed if concerning this I'd find a more binding information.

Each product may be out of stock for a while (and it is very interesting to know at least approximately how long this 'while' will last), but thatswhy removing the background information from the website?

It would be nice to get a clarification - or to see the information being back again, if all that actually was nothing than a small website failure...

thanks a lot for that hint, that helped for the time being.

But still I don't know if the DM814x /AM387x Evaluation Module will be available again, besides some remaining stock at some places.

The former link http://www.ti.com/tool/tmdxevm8148 has been removed from some places at TI's website, and nowhere I found something like a strategy or a road map concerning DM8148 and its EVM.

I'd be glad if TI could provide a clear statement concerning this.

I found that discussed also here, but also there it is not really clearly explained if the EVMs for DM8148 will be produced continuously. And it remains unclear why http://www.ti.com/tool/tmdxevm8148has been removed. Also the EVM is no longer mentioned at the Design Kits & Evaluation Modules table for dm8148 (but for dm8168 at least yet it is).

I'm using an AM3874 processor in a new design, and invested quite a lot in this design, so It would be nice if we could have more information from TI about ths future of these processors (AM387x and DM814x), a roadmap, or any relevant information.
