video modulated ramp truncated when output through the DVO2

My input buffer is initialized as a video ramp and sent through the bypass path BP1 and out DVO2. YCbCr are given the same value, starting at 0x10 to the left of each line and ramping to 0xeb to the right of each line.  DVO2 outputs a ramp with YCbCr varying from approximately 0x40 to 0xc0.  I am using SDK 5.03.01.15.  Has TI tested the BP1/DVO2 combination with a video ramp?   The modulated ramp is bad when I use the HDTV video and HDTV graphics CSC input and output coefficients.

In converting the YCrCb to RGB, the DM816x  seems to clip any RGB value that is below 0 to 0 or value above 256 to 256.

BP1 is HDCOMP Mux->CSC->CIG->COMP->HD_VENC.
