Resizers vs H.264 encoder

Are you using EZSDK ? noise filter can be used for color conversion. EZSDK 5.05.01.04 supports using NF for this.

I don't want to use the EZSDK's iss package, but If the EZSDK can do it so can I :) In the ISS documentation(SPRUH30) on Figure 130 (ISS ISP IPIPE Module Block Diagram) there are not datapath from any 2D Noisefilter to the RAM (or any mention of YUV conversion).
The NF1 input is OTF DPC and the output is a Line memory and the NF2. The NF2 output is Green imbalance correction module. 

Is there any other Noise Filter?

So you suggest the following: the IPIPE writes the full resolution image to memory and pushes the data to the resizers. These resize the image in YUV420SP format and after this, the HDVPSS's NF modul converts the YUV422 to YUV40SP (memory-to-memory). Is it correct? Is a resolution limit for NF?
An other question: we do not use the LINKS API, we have an own simple framework. Is there any detailed documentation for HDVPSS, escpecially NF?

See this thread, there is announced that for more detailed information on HDVPSS (than the some lines provided in sprugz8) we would have to contact local TI rep, also NDA was needed. Unfortunately I couldn't make the experience that local TI rep's are able to deliver too much more detailed information.

A small hope remains from this thread.

for ISS TRM describes about the formats, and ISS itself would be able to give you 420 o/p. Please refer to TRM for exact settings.
