HI there,

For our application, we're receiving bursty traffic over the GigE port. Can you confirm that the AM3894 can keep up with full rate GigE traffic? We're seeing other processors have buffer limitations that force them to throttle the interface - that works for many applications, but not for ours.

What is the maximum throughput requirement when the burst occurs? I'm not an expert in network drivers, but I guess AM3894 will be able to handle 600-700Mbps rate easily.

The EMAC peripheral on the AM389x devices is IEEE 802.3 standard and supports 10/100/1000 Mbps operations. In order to get gigabit operation, the device must be in Full-duplex mode. Is this the case?
