Can we combine xloader/uboot as single bootloader

HI all;

I have a question,

wheather it is possible to combine x/loader/uboot as a single bootloader instead of xloader and uboot?

If possible,

wheather we need to include all things in xloader or uboot?

Santosh,

This is already done for the AM37x, AM3517, and AM335x devices since we use the u-boot SPL to generate the MLO (what used to be x-loader). You can find this in the latest SDKs at www.ti.com/tool/linuxezsdk-sitara

Hi,
I chanced upon this thread while searching answers to the same question.
I haven't downloaded the Sitara SDK. But I looked at some of the associated documents and I couldn't find the answer as how the SPL and u-boot got combined!
Can someone please point me to some steps/docs or pieces of code?
