Is there any requirement to have an external buffer for McASP signals (AM3354) to the Audio Codec (TLV320AIC3106).

Hi Sarusha,

No, you don't need to buffer the McASP signals from AM3354 to the Audio Codec, if they are on the same power rail (3.3V). You can check the AM335X Starter Kit schematics for a reference:
