I have been doing some testing with the EDMA controller and ran into a problem. Most of chapter 11 of the TRM rev F described the EDMA as having 512 PaRam parameter sets (0-511, or as some of the figures show, 0 to 51 1). When I tried to use sets over 255, I got access faults. Then I found one line in the features section 11.1.2.1 which says there are 256 PaRAM entries. The rest of the chapter refers to 512 entries. Which is is supposed to be?
The CPU I have is AM3359.
