Can I use the latest Linux Utils v3.23.00.01 for DM365 DVSDK v4.02.00.06?

Hi Champs,

I always thank you for your great support and I'd like to ask you a favor.

The latest Linux Utils v3.23.00.01 has been released. So can I use it for  DM365  DVSDK v4.02.00.06?

If so, I also would like to know the recommended version of other tools below for use with.

  - Codec Engine
  - DMAI
  - Framework Components
  - XDAIS
  - XDCtools
  - dm365mm Module
  - DVTB

If not, I have to use v2.26.03.06?, which is the latest version in v2.26.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Best regards,
j-breeze

  • The recommended versions of the components are typically the ones provided by the DVSDK since these components have be validated and tested to work on a particular device.

With that said,  there are occasions when updating to newer component versions is suggested due to enhancements or bug fixes.  In the DM365 case,  non of the newer components would add any benefit.  The only one might be Linux Utils, if you are planing to use a newer Linux kernel version than the one provided in the DVSDK.  The Linux Utils component has been update to support newer kernel versions.
