Hi,

we are using Android 2.3.4 on AM3517 (TI-Android-GingerBread-2.3.4-DevKit from repo) within kernel 2.6.37 and a touchscreen.

We would like to use also a mouse but unfortunately it seems that the mouse wheel doesn't work.

When we try to use the mouse wheel ( up/down ) with the browser app, the web page doesn't scroll up or down.

Can be a problem of my GB build or the mouse wheel it doesn't supported ?

There is a patch that I can apply ?

Mouse is not natively supported in AOSP Gingerbread. In the TI DevKit version, only left-click is supported. Right-click, scroll etc are not supported.

I found this topic outside the TI-forum. They translate mouse wheel clicks into up/down buttons.

Thanks for providing the link.

The patch may not apply directly on our DevKit sources, but I believe it would not be too difficult to port the code. Do try this out by yourself.
