Hello,

Does RDK memory map can only be set in M3 , not in A8 ?

Yes . You have to rebuild the firmwares if you change the memory map.

A8 using linux operates with the low memory base address with range mentioned using MEM=xxxM in boot args. Using different memory segments for linux is not supported in DVR RDK releases till now - but possible with some memory config changes.
