Is it must to set ubuntu's firewall in Android development

Now, my Ubuntu can access internet without configure proxy. I do not know if it must configure proxy before development android.

Hi Younger,

You need to have appropriate tools installed such as corkscrew and git-proxy in order to have the git and repo commands functional so that you can download the code without any issues.

You can try downloading it without configuring the proxy for any of the available android releases and if it works fine, then you don't need to configure proxy.
