Questions about OMAP L137 silicon version D800K005

Hello everyone!

We have custom boards with silicon version D800K003 of the OMAP L137, but now we buy some new chips and find the version is D800K005. I wonder if there is a tool with a new version just like "AISgen D800K003"? Where can I find the tool or document about it?

Will the images created with AISgen for D800K003 (Rev 2.0) run correctly on the current D800K005?

In fact we have a EVM board with silicon D800K001 of the OMAP L137 and we noticed that boot images created with AISgen for D800K001 (Rev 2.0) can't run on the new silicon, so I'm afraid it will be incompatable between D800K003 and D800K005 in the same way.

Please check the updated Bootloader app notes. It contains the updated AISGen tool that supports D800K005 ROM version. Again check Appendix E of the updated bootloader App notes for ROM changes.

I installed the AISgen and read the note and I have one more question, can the "dspnand_writer" under CCS(when I used in 2.0version) be used to write dspais.bin, armubl.bin and u-boot.bin to the 2.1 version chip?

Yes, you can use the NANDWriter CCS project to write your images to NAND flash. Please refer to the user guide in the linux PSP package for complete set of instructions of going about this process.
