Linux pre-built image for DM8148/AM387x

Hi ALL,

I tried with arogo project pre-built image on DM8148/AM387x .The thing is i am unable to see the preview of camera on LCD and also its not supporting many of the linux commands.So can you suggest some other pre-built linux image for DM8148/AM387x also the generic method to build the custom the linux source.

Yes, you can check EZSDK for video support features. Please, refer to that, there are many useful links:

Inside the EZSDK package there are pre-builts and convenient Makefiles, so you can build you custom modification.

About the commands: EZSDK based systems use busybox, so you can refer to the busybox website and to build a busybox with the same tool chain with everything you want added.

Hi Renjith,

Yes I tried it.But still i have some doubt that how to work with external USB camera do i need any third party application to see the camera preview on LCD.I tried ./capture it says not found.Can you suggest some idea on this.

Hello,

Using EZSDK you have to construct yourself a Gstreamer pipeline that does this. It would require some efforts.
