System Analyzer - C6678 - Image Processing Demo

Can you confirm that you are getting events? Please look in ROV to see

1. which Logger you have

2. Are there events present (look in the records tab and at each of the instances).

Can you attach your .cfg so I can see how you've configured your system.

Which core does the master and slave .outs run on?

Is a file being generated? The default is C:/temp/UIADump.bin. Note: the JTAG connection is required when you are writing to a file on the host from the target.

The generated file is - systemAnalyzerData.bin (size "0"), I can't find UIADump.bin, I'm using the TMDSEVM6678LE with the On-board XDS560v2 Emulator (extension board)

When setting "ServiceMgr.topology = ServiceMgr.Topology_MULTICORE;" in the .cfg file, all events are routed to the "masterProcId". I'm a little confused that you have the ServiceMgr.transportType set to ServiceMgr.TransportType_FILE on the slave. Since the slave .out runs on core 1-7, they are going to route the events to core 0 (i.e. masterProcId). Setting it to ServiceMgr.TransportType_FILE should not matter, but bring in some unused code.

How are you trying to get the data off of core 0? By default for the device you have, it will be TCP/UDP.

From the configuration, you will not be getting any SYS/BIOS events. You should be getting Load events and your application events (if you are logging any). Since you are seeing 0 records in System Analyzer, it appears that it is connecting properly (e.g. right IP address, etc.). Can you start System Analyzer and when you see 0 records, can you stop core 0. IN ROV, look at the ServiceMgr values. Can you send me a snapshot of the "module" and transport views? Look in the Rta view to see if any packets are being sent. Finally, look at LoggerCircBuf. What are the serial numbers for the different loggers? If they are 1, that means no events were logged.

Also, when you open System Analyzer, are you detecting all cores or just core0?
