Linking Error openMP

Hi!

I'm using TMS320C6678EVM board with a licensed CCS5.1.

Along the "BIOS MCSDK 2.0 User Guide" Page 94, I try to compile the example "hello" source code but I can't.

The error message was like below.

May I ask you what this problem comes from.

Is it possible the source code is wrong?

I believe that the missing "tls" symbols are only available in newer C6x code generation tools.

Try running the "Check for Updates" function under the CCS 'Help' menu to see if newer C6x compiler tools are available for you to install.

Thanks for your answers!

But it was not helpfull for me to solve the problem.

I remove all of CCSV5 & MCSDK from my computer.

And I re-install the CCSV5.1 and MCSDK 2.1.0.3.

While I'm installing the MCSDK, a warning message came out like below.

Is this related with the linking problem?

No, this is not releated to linking issue.

Here are potential solution for your linking issue:

1) Use Code-gen tool version 7.4.0.

2) Use thread safe RTS library (rts6600_elf_mt.lib) if not using "Auto" option.
