DSPLink message sample (message.out) application.

Hi,

I am using OMAPL138 and DSPLink (dsplink_1_65_01_06).

Referring “InstallGuide_WinCE_OMAPL138.pdf”, able to build dsplinkk.dll, but unable to build message.out, using Platform Builder.

Section 9.2.2 says “This step builds both the GPP and DSP side libraries plus the message sample application.”

In “%DSPLINK%\dsp\export\BIN\DspBios\OMAPL138\OMAPL138GEM_0\DEBUG\” folder not able to find any .out file.

There are eight *.lib files (dsplink, dsplinkdata, dsplinkmplist, etc.) and 61 * . txt files (DATA_defines, DSPLINK, MESSAGE_defines, MESSAGE_flags, RING_IO_flags, etc.) generated.

Does dsplink\dsp\src , needs to be build separately ?

That same Install Guide has information on how to build the GPP and DSP side via command line. Can you try that?

cd $(DSPLINK)/dsp/src
make –s release
make –s debug

cd $(DSPLINK)/dsp/src/samples
make –s release
make –s debug

There was some problem in the environment variable.Now am able to build using the PB.
