Hello,

I need to capture and process simultaneous videos for stereo vision. One of my friend claimed that, the baseboard of this evolution module has no video input and Expansion I/O Daughter card has only one component input, one VGA input and one HDMI input. I just wonder that is it possible to connect two same model camera to DM816x Development Board with two same connector type ? For example is it possible to connect two USB cameras via USB ports on board or two GigE cameras via ethernet ports?

Hi,

It is possible to capture upto 2X1080P60 using DM8168 using same encoder. Just for sake of displaying use of different decoders, IO expansion has different decoders. You can connect two same decoders like TVP7002 or sil1161 on your board and get two 1080P60.

Are you trying to do 3D meaning stereo or plain two 1080P60 capture?

Hi,

I am trying to do 3D motion tracking. I need to connect two same type of cam on board and do 3D motion tracking at real time so sync of two cam is very important for me.

How can i connect two same decoders on board ?
