Hi,
I am using AM3358ZCZD72.
Pin B18 is nNMI (External Interrupt to ARM Cortext A8 core).
Is it possible to use External Interrupt?
Please inform me.
Best regards,

The input signal name for the EXTINTn terminal is nNMI because the initial plan was to have this input operate as an active-low non-maskable interrupt, but the function was changed before AM335x silicon revision 1.0 was released to the silicon foundry. The internal signal name could not easily be changed so the AM335x terminal name was changed to EXTINTn which represents the redefined operation of active-low maskable interrupt. However, the input was accidentally inverted in silicon revision 1.0 devices which made it function as an active-high maskabe interrupt. See AM335x Silicon Errata Advisory 1.0.6.
This inverter will be removed on AM335x silicon revisions 2.0 and newer, so the input will function as an active-low maskable interrupt.
Regards,
Paul
