I am intending to use AMC to PCIe Adapter Card to connect through the PCIe slot (and not the 170 pins Gold Finger)

May I know what signals is routed through the PCIe slot? Is it PCIe x4 lanes and power and clock signal for PCIe?

Is there schematic for the AMC to PCIe Adapter Card? It will be very helpful for us to test out the AMC to PCIe adapter card with schematic provided.

Will the AMC to PCIe adaptor card be powered through the PCIe slot? Or do we need to connect the 12V jack to C6678?

If there is power signal routed on the PCIe slot, what is the voltages?

The TMDXEVMPCI is supported by Einfochips and the documentation can be found on their website at the following address.

You will see that the adapter card does provided +12V to the AMC connector allowing the EVM to be powered by the PCIE connector. You will also see that the adapter card is designed to provide a four lane PCIE interface, however, the C6678 only supports up to two lanes. In addition most PCIE controllers will only support PCIE in x1, x4 and x16 lane modes so your system will probably negotiate the interface to a x1 lane interface.
