Does OMAP 4460 support two concurrent 720P 30 fps H.264 encodes?

Hello,

I thought I saw two encoder hardware blocks earlier, but now I cannot find it. One question is if the OMAP 4460 supports two concurrent 720P 30 fps H.264 encodes to be performed? If so, does this share the same IVA-HD block?

An extension question is if two(2) 720P HD H.264 encodes *and* one(1) SD H.264 encode can be perfomed concurrently by OMAP4460?

Yes, OMAP4460 with the latest 4AI release (4AI.1.7-P1) should support 2x720P + SD H.264 encode. I assume you are not doing any decode. There is only 1 IVAHD being shared for all the encodes ( or decodes). The 4AI release supports 1080p Encode + Decode - if you scale dimensions to your use case, it should be suppprted.
