am335x RTC boot issue

I'm having a issue with configuring the RTC. When I go to write to the KICK registers the processor reboots. Any idea as to why?

Have you checked section 20.3.3.5.3 "OCP MMR Spurious WRT Protection" of the AM335X TRM? Two consecutive writes with exact values must be executed in order to unlock the RTC registers. There is also an Errata Advisory 1.0.5 that you can check, though I don't think it should concern this issue.

Turns out the RTC_PORZ wasn't being brought up fully.
