Hi all,

I just began to work with the OMAP L138 eXperimenter, and for the moment I try to make all important peripherals working. I understood how GPIOs and UART working, but I have some problems with the timer and the interruptions, so i have two big questions. (I work only with the DSP, i do not care about the ARM)

1) I don't see how make a generic timer working (not the USTIMER). I try to find some informations about the CSL (to know API and macro specific to the timer and about interruptions) of the board, but i cannot find any. If you have any advices, i will be glade to receive them.

2) I have the book "Digital Signal Processing and Applications with the OMAP-L138 eXperimenter" by Donald Reay. Its really good, but i cannot find the files and example programs discussed in the book. I try the url given in the book (ftp://ftp.wiley.com/public/sci_tech_med/signal_processing) but it doesnt seem to work. Maybe they are somewhere else ?

Hi all,

I know my questions are not very advanced, but i'm really a beginner with this board, and i absolutely don't know where i can find some informations to configure a timer with a interrupt.

I really advance on my project without this.

Sorry for the delayed response. For 1 please refer to the Quick Start rCSL package on the following wiki which does provide sample code for the generic timer:

Unfortunately, we are not able to replicate the issue you are reporting in 2 as I am able to see the examples on the ftp site that you have provided. If You wish I can download it and send it to you. Please accept my friend request and I can send it to you in a separate message.

I try again to connect to the URL and it works now. I don't know why it didn't work before. Probably some problems with my internet.
