Problems occurred when DM3725 and USB3320 are connected at low temperature

DM3725 is being used with USB3320 connection as shown below.

DM3725 <-- ULPI --> USB3320

It works at room temperature but not at -25 degrees. As a result of several experiments,

we found out that it works with the power turned on when temperature is lowered. However,

it does not work at the low temperature when trying to turn the power on or restarting.

Please let us know if you have any known issue or solutions about this problem.

Hi,

Seems that you have a hardware issue. You are using the system in extreme temperature conditions. Therefore you should select all components on the board to be suitable for this temperature range. You aren't specifying the whole mane of the processor which you are using, but you could check it. You could check the temperature range for your processor or select other one if it is necessary from the Figure 7-1. Device Nomenclature of the Digital Media Processor data sheet:

Thank you for giving me the answer.

DM3725CUSD100 was used for equipment.

It support industrial temperature(-40 dgrees).

The problem may be due to other components related to the USB lines. You could check their temperature ranges in data sheets.

It would be useful to compare the logs from logcat command in room temperature and in extreme temperature conditions.
