PROJECT_ROOT ?

Hello,

I am trying to review some of the examples for the 6670 EVM and when I import the sample projects they refer to an environment variable PROJECT_ROOT. This variable doesn't seem to point to the right place and it is used in the include paths, causing some of the include files to not be found.  Where is this variable supposed to be set ?

                                                                                                        Thanks

  • Hi Chuck,

Definitely something is up with your project preferences, i.e. your Link Resources. I don't have a PROJECT_ROOT variable, but I do have CCS_INSTALL_ROOT and CCS_BASE_ROOT and other variables. Look into your path variables and see which ones has the "value" tab as nothing. Look into that, and if it still says project root, then you probably have something wrong with your work space set up. You may have not copied the premade project into your workspace when you imported it.

Feel free to ask again if you have any more issues!
