Hello everyone.

According to "TI81XX Video Capture Driver User Guide", i wonder to know, why support for 720p30 is not available?

Is it available with OMX capture driver? Or should i use the other suggestion for capturing video in 720p30?

Nor V4L2 neither OMX support 720p30, these support 720p60 instead. For 720p30, new development is required. Check here also:

Hi,

720P30 is not a standard thats why its not supported in V4L2 capture and in OMX as well. But it should be easy to add 720P30 support in V4L2. You need to modify open source TVP7002 driver at $KERNEL\drivers\media\video\tvp7002.c. Link to TVP7002 datasheet is here
