AM335x (PRU-ICSS/ECAT Signals Description)

IO Sets define valid pin multiplexing combinations supported by AM335x.

This is explained in the first two paragraphs of the Peripheral Information and Timings section of the AM335x data sheet.

Perhaps the following post (coincidentally?) also by Paul more clearly describes what the PinMux utility uses for "valid IO sets".  This "valid" limitation applies regardless of what you are using the PRUSS for (EtherCAT or something else).

Thanks for your reply.

I use ECAT signal pin.

I only select four pin through pin mux utiliy.

- D18 : pin pr1_edc_latch0_in, D17 : pin pr1_edc_latch1_in,

- E18 : pr1_edc_sync0_out, E17 : pr1_edc_sync1_out.

But pin-mux utility error has occurred. (IO  Set Violation)

I don't understand this error.

Can I get ECAT reference schematic?
