AM3352 Power Domains

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3352

Hi,

I understand that no power supplies in the AM3352 should be left floating, even if the block functionality is not being used.

I'm designing a board where it will not have an external SDRAM DDR interfacing with the AM3352. Is it ok to power the VDDS_DDR domain together with the others 1.8V supplies?

Thanks,

E

  • If there is not going to be any device connected to the DDR interface, then I would agree that 1.8V already available in the system could be connected VDDS_DDR pins.

The VDDS_DDR can be either 1.8V or 1.5V, usually dependent on use of DDR2 or DDR3, respectfully.
