SPI / Zigbee port device on the AM335x EVM-SK

Hello,

I would like attach a SPI device to the AM335x EVM-SK via SPI.  The schematic shows SPI0 CS0 is connected to the "Zigbee" connector, J11.  According to the PSP page it indicates that SPI is not supported in the release 04.06.00.08 at least for the EVM-SK.

Is there a plan or recipe to get the SPI support into the kernel for the SK?

I'm still learning about building the kernel and have read several sites on including SPI for the beagle board and other ARM boards.  Are there any specific hints or kinks that I should be aware of to get SPI devices working on the EVM-SK?
