AM3359 ice analog input circuit example??

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3359, LM94022

HI I'm AM3359 ice  user and want to use ADC but I need some H/W circuit tips.

1.  I know where ADC Port and Analog GND is.. but How much Voltage and resistor would be OK?? with external PIN(AIN1).. and

2.  Is AIN0 using Temp Sensor??

3.  plus. I think INDUS_Input 0~7 suitable for Digital Input.. and Ice board already has suitable resistor and V24_0HVS too..

so do i need to install only Switch for Digital input?? and any suggestion Product??

  • Hi Moonseon,

    1. AIN1 - AIN4 are direct traces from J9 to processor ADC inputs. The input voltage on these should not exceed VDDA_ADC, which is 1.8V. For precise measurements you need low impedance source. You can use a resistor divider.
    2. AIN0 is connected to an LM94022 temperature sensor on PCB.
    3. Yes, a switch to V24_0HVS is enough. You can use any switch you find convenient.
