Hi all!
In current DVRRDK release playback use the secondary out, that is live and playback use different display port. I want to know if they can use the same display port, such as HDMI0. Is this very easy to merge the two display to one, thanks!

Yes this is supported. Currently in the RDK ,both the live and playback channels are sent to both the SwMs .THere is one SwMs per each HD display port.
For SwMs channel 0 - 15 are the live channels and channels 16 - 31 are the playback.By selecting the SwMs channels to display you can display both live and playback on same display.
Thanks Badri!
I will try to do it first, and ask your help if meet to other problem.
Hi Badri:
I want to know if live and playback can set different layoutId and numwin, that is, set mode in live and don't change playback mode. Such as live display 9 windows while playback display 16 channels, thanks!
In Netra progressive demo there are 2 Software Mosaic (SwMs) instances associated with two independent HD displays (HDMI and DVO2).
Both SwMs get all the live and playback channels.
Each SwMs can be independently controlled to select required layout and required channel -> window mapping.
So what you mentioned is possible.
