VDCDC3 Slew rate too fast

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65070

When setting operational point to 456MHz UBL reprograms  TPS65070  to  change VDCDC3 from 1.2V to 1.3 V.

The DEFSLEW register is not modified by UBL when operational point changes (default value 7.2 mV/us).

OMAP L-138 datasheet specifies that "The maximum voltage slew rate for CVdd supply changes is 1 mV/us."

Is fast slew rate going to cause us problems?

Yes, the recommended slew rate is 1 mV/usec, and ideally I believe the UBL should've changed the settings for TPS65070 to 0.9 mV/usec to stay in the datasheet recommended spec.

If you are using the UBL for your final end application/production software etc, I would recommend making the changes to adhere to the datasheet.

I will notify the UBL owners, hopefully this can be fixed in a subsequent release.

    Thanks for pointing this out.
