problem with change video sourece from component to hdmi

You need to change  the capture port properties for capturing from HDMI port on vc card.

sVidDecParam.videoDecoderId = OMX_VID_DEC_SII9135_DRV;
//sVidDecParam.videoDecoderId = OMX_VID_DEC_TVP7002_DRV;

sVidDecParam.videoSystemId = OMX_VIDEO_DECODER_VIDEO_SYSTEM_AUTO_DETECT;

sHwPortId.eHwPortId = OMX_VIDEO_CaptureHWPortVIP2_PORTA; ( two places in example)

     I cannot confirm the type of daughter card I have,

    and there is no sii9135 on my board; and  there is "816x/389x expansion i/o daughter card   " on my daughter board;

   I know something about : the vc and vs card  has special licensing restrictions (due to the included HDMI RX).  You will need to contact your local TI representative about this Dcard.

so my evm is with eIO Daughter Board ;

so my question is : Is there posibility for me to capture video from the EIO card (not component )? i see there is a HDMI connecter on EIO card(connet to sii1161),  is it a DVI interface???? Can I capture video from it ?? my ezsdk version : 5.5

Hi,

On EIO board, it is not possible to do so. It needs decoder chip programming , which may not be connected to same I2C bus as well. So unfortunately, you will not eb able to capture two videos on EIO card.

SIL1161 is a DVI receiver not a HDMI receiver. There is not driver for SII1161 in any of the packages.
