[Arago] How to build user application?

Okay -- I would start with a OE overview and then dive into creating a *.bb. I believe there are some changes happening with OE but creating a application should not differ much.

If you are running Linux on the target the most common place to place the application is within /usr/bin (once they application as been built properly using the proper cross compiler tools). Kernel headers are usually located in /usr/src/linux{version} or /usr/source/kernel/kernel{version}. I believe your application headers can be place where ever as long as you are able to path them correctly during your build.

Take a look at:http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Code_Composer_Studio_v5_Users_Guide#Creating_a_New_Project for examples on building a application within CCS. Once you have this working your can simple take the output files and copy ofer to your target. If you are looking to do a build within Arago then you would need to create a recipe that builds your application and loads it into your target's rootfs.
