Query regarding Face Detection

is there any HW limitation on face detection in case of 45 degree?

    Hi Ansari,

    You can check the Table 9-1 in OMAP4470 TRM for detailed description of the Face Detection hardware capabilities. Please let me know if this information is sufficient to answer your queries or do you have any thing in particular. All the faces with inclination up to 45 degrees are detected.

    Thanks for reply.

    I have an issue in which i am rotating my camera(mobilephone) to 45 degree and then face detection is not happening when i kept holding my mobilephone for 45 degree. And any other angle it is detecting.  As customer expect that face is detect in all direction (0 to 360 ) .

    Mohammad,

    Which TI OMAP platform (ie, Blaze, Blaze Tablet, custom) and which TI OMAP software release (ie, 4AI.1.7, 4AJ.1.2) are you using and having issues with the face detect?  If it is not a TI software release, please contact the manufacturer/community for that release.
