no video auto on evm816x, use prebuilt matrix-gui-e?1080p60 Capture and Encode (requires Daughter card)

hi,

i boot from the sd card, 816x/389x evm Rev J and daugther card C.

all u-boot parameter default, after start 'matrix-gui-e' , i choose the menu 'Multimedia' -> '1080p60 Capture and Encode(requires Daughter card)',

after i select the menu, the screen show nothing.

the hdmi-out is connetct on mainboard original HDMI out,
the hdmi input connect on daughter card hdmi in2

how can i get the demo run well?

there is another question

i want to capture video from vin0，there are rgb24 data direct connect to the vin0 pins。

it test the input rgb24 data .it ok.

which file should i must modified。

EZSDK 5.05, capture encode example:

I check all available sources and documents, and found some info in the OMX User Guide, located in ti-ezsdk_dm816x-evm_5_05_04_01/component-sources/omx_05_02_00_46/OMX_05_02_00_46_UserGuide.pdf

In section 2.2 Video Frame Capture Component (VFCC), we have:

Features supported
• Input Video Source Formats
   § YUV422 8-bit embedded sync mode
   § YUV422 16-bit embedded sync mode
   § YUV422 8-bit 2x/4x pixel multiplxed mode
   § YUV422 8-bit 4x line multiplexed mode
• Output Video formats
   § YUV422 YUYV interleaved format
   § YUV420 Semi-planer format

Field Name: format.video.eColorFormat
Description: Format of output buffer
Values: OMX_COLOR_FormatYUV420SemiPlanar; OMX_COLOR_FormatYCbYCr

From this info in the OMX User Guide, it seems that the VFCC output does not support RGB 24-bit, neither YUV 4:4:4. VFCC output supports only YUV4:2:2 and YUV4:2:0.
