Is DM385 pin to pin compatible with DM368?

I'm new to this forums, our company intend to develop IP camera solutions for our customer, Wei-Chun Chang, Would you like to send me some information and share your experiences about DM368  with me?

Its not ours. We've worked on Appro's IPNC platforms extensively. We've done kernel porting, optimization and imaging algorithm integration on the DM36x IPNC platforms. Right now we are working on their DM81xx IPNCs.

 As for a primary developer on the DM36x, which things I should be ready before developing? In other words, Should I purchase demo board of DM36x or download relevant developing tools first?

I believe you should just go ahead a purchase a DM36x IPNC board and start developing with the IPNC software stack. Its not so tough as the software is very stable and a good starting point.

It's said that anyone else could not purchase demod board of DM36x at general electronic market DM36x  except TI or TI's agent. Is that true?

I'm not sure about the availability in general electronics market. If you are looking for DM36x IPNC you can buy it directly online from Appro or if you are buying an DM36x evaluation module you can get it from "Spectrum Digital" or their distributors.
