Errata in website

The website seems to have some data wrong

The column onchip L1/SRAM.

http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/dsp/keystone/c667x/products.page?paramCriteria=no

  • It says the Peak MMACs for C6671 is 40,000. In the datasheet, it says that the 40GMAC @ 1.25GHz.

The Math does not seem to tally as 40,000 * 1.25 = 50,000GMAC.

  • Hi,

I think this information is correct, because it 40GMAC per core not per GHz, as C6671 has 1 core it's 40 GMAC = 40000 MMAC.

However I think that in C6672 there's an error, because according to the datashee it's 48 GMAC/core as we have 2 cores we get 96 GMAC and in the site you're talking about it's described as 80000 MMAC.

    Regards

  • It's 32 MACs per cycle per core - 1 Core @ 1.25GHz = 40,000,000,000 MACs, or 40GMACs @ 1.25GHz.

There is a 1.5GHz device supported on the C6672, thus it's 96GMAC and that's why it's listed in the Data Manual that way.  I'll ping the owner on the website so that it's udpated.

    Best Regards,

    Chad
