LIDD (LCDC) instead of EMIFA to interface ADS8568 adc.

Hi, 

We have to connect two ADS8568 to our OMAP-L137 system. The problem is that we don't have avaliable EMIFA controller so we want to use LCDC controller with 16bit data bus. We plan to use LIDD controller in 8080 mode to interface ADS8568. 

We want to use GPIO instead of LIDD /CS lines  (to have an option for additional ADS8568 device) . LCD_D[0:15}, /WR and /RD signals are connected directly to ADS8568 device. 

It seems that in this configuration we should be able to read and write data from/to ADS8568 by LIDD_CS0_DATA LIDD controller register.

Does this configuration can work ?  

Any suggetions ?
