problem about VPIF on DM6467

I have access the post you provided,but I do not think it help me with the problem. In the post , the Linux OS was referred to, but we do not use Linux OS .We have ever driven the VPIF pass 8 bits data without Linux OS ,that is we control the corresponding registers directly, and it work well. Now,we want to pass 10 bits ,but as I mentioned before, it only have 8 pins in each channel(channel 0 and channel 1),how will these 10 bits data be passed? and  any registers should be used to control it?

Hi,

You could RAW capture mode of VPIF to capture data in 10 bit mode, but only one channel can be captured in this case. Also 10 bit data will be stored in the 16 bit memory word. Is this ok?

Now, another problem comes to me. when the video source comes to VPIF continuesly, it can work well , but when video source stops for a while and then starts again, the VPIF will not accept the video data forever, ps: the video date is in embedded synchronization format. Could you help me with this problem? How to resulve it?

Hi,

Could you try restarting VPIF Port when source recovers? Somestimes if it goes out of sync, it creates problems.
