Hello,
using DM8168 , H.264, MPEG-4 codecs, In datasheet i did not find mentioning of ddr bandwith (Mega Byte/sec) . Is there any document about DDR performance in relation to codec ?
Thank you,
Ran

Ran,
We dont have DDR b./w given as part of datasheet. We will try to send the information through Yair.

In the TRM its given that DMM operates at 400MHz max with 128-bit wide bus. So the maximum possible throughput will be 6.4GB/sec if L3 is clocked accordingly and DDR is giving its maximum throughput.
On 816x/814x you can measure actual bandwidth using XDS560v2 emulator with CCS v5.x.

has the details. If link is not externally accessible pls contact your FAE to get a offline copy.
No instrumentation is required in the application. The bandwidth is measured by reading counters in the SoC and provides realtime actual ddr b/w data
